The “Walk Me Through It” APP, is actually a collection of APPs held together by one or more Master APPs either as Links or Interfaces.  It is specifically designed to help people walk through to help people understand their Health needs and changes in their lives based on different stages or conditions in their lives. This can be an event (or potential event) in your life or just getting older.

It is envisioned that the System would have access to all of your current profile data and then walk you through any additional information, when they are guided them through their initial “checkup”. This would save a baseline and allow the person to come back for any changes in their lives, and remind them of a 3, 6, or 12 month or event based “check-ups”, that would automatically take any changes into consideration and go through any additional applicable sections, based on the changes.

Some sample automated Events and Scheduled checkups can include:

  • Yearly checkup to go through all of the sections

  • Time to start collecting information for your Taxes

  • Time to do your taxes

  • Every 3-6 months to review and update your tax, budget, and investment planning

  • Every 3-6 months to review and update your whole health stats, plans, and goals

  • 2-4 weeks before scheduled medical appointments to review information you want covered

As we age or encounter events (or potential events), there are things that can affect us many different areas. The App is envisioned to understand how the change might affect other areas of your life and use a program similar to the “Intelligent Adaptive Examination Decision Tree” to do the same thing for collecting the changes in your life, and guide us through the areas we need to look at..

Some examples:

  • You are entering the Men’s 37-42 age bracket, and there are things that you need to be aware of and potentially start doing (in addition to normal age factors, the System can take into consideration any family history and genetics for the individual)

  • Losing or changing a job which can affect wills, insurance, contacts, and disaster plan

  • You are pregnant and need to know certain things about your condition (considers age factors, family history, and genetics ), things you should start doing for your health, and things you need to do and plan for the upcoming baby (changes in budgets, insurance, taking maternity leave, etc.)

  • The Trust, Will, and Asset Information is over 5 years old and have not been reviewed or updated in the last 3 years. Lots has changed and it needs to be updated (potentially even do some automatic updates)

Some of the covered topics specifically targeted toward supporting “Specific” and “How To” information to support the Whole Health of an Individual (or their Family, or a person they are a Guardian for). A “Show Me” feature can help individuals actually see how to do certain tasks, like online forms.

Profiles would be a combination of information already collected about the individual (or family, or person they are guardian for) and additional data needed for the analysis, which they would be walked through.

  • Walk Me Through “Who am I(we)”

  • Family Status (marriage, ages/sex, link for medical history)

  • Financial Status

  • Things you (we) have (will, trust, business, job, etc.)

  • Other general “checkup information

The System APP would understand and navigate the individual through the relationships between the events (and may have to create some of the information), but it envisioned that a lot of the content and associated personal services, would be provided through 3rd Party Partnerships and adapting existing information applications and content to interface with the System.

The System can automatically capture certain event changes as the person goes through any “checkups” and “Walk me through it” secessions. Each of the approved providers could have a portal into the System to help upload any information about quotes, recommendations, and/or services that have been initiated, so that the System will know updates by 3rd parties. “What If” scenarios can be run and saved as separate baselines.

The “Checkups” and “Walk Me Through It” will target the individuals profile and capture other changes that are detected by the System as efficiently as possible. There are lots of different factors. One of the ways of optimizing this is to allow a person to navigate sections on their own, have searches to find specific areas, and have summary pages, where the individual can review categories of items and select if any of the items apply. If yes, they go to the next level,  if not… they go to the next section. This is similar to some of the “Tax Preparation in a Box” APPs. In addition, the System will make recommendations if the System determines that there is something that should be reviewed (e.g. no Doctor’s visits in over a year or a child reaching 18 and needing to update a Will/Trust  in 3 years).

For the System to be able detect certain changes that could affect other areas, there needs to be certain common Key Triggers and Values that can be checked and correlated across different applications and events.

  • Next General Checkup Time

  • Contacts

  • Primary Address

  • Job Status

  • Marriage Status

  • Birthday

  • Etc.

The following lists show some of the top level categories and a hybrid of the items under those categories. For checkups, the lists are smaller, mainly focusing on if there have been any in order to update the information in the System and determine other areas that may need to be reviewed. For targeted searched or navigation, the lists would focus more on a specific area and  “how to”, although changes can still direct the user to other areas.
