This is an extension (or replacement) for what you would have as an “Individual” < Read more about Individual Use Case>, living in a “Home/Residence”  <Read more about Home/Residence Use Case>, and having “Family, Friends, and/or Guardian” <Read more about Family, Friends, and/or Guardian Use Case>.

 

 Basically the System provides the opportunity for add-on services for resident’s safety and comfort (for them and their family), and can be provided at many different service levels. It provides new revenue streams for the Retirement Home/Communities/Centers through insurance and private payments, and can add additional features in the operation of the facility with monitoring, security, personnel and outside service scheduling, escalation, billing, and payments. This can be obtained from an Out-of-the Box Whole Healthcare System Customized for Retirement Home/Communities/Centers. The System provides common “Look and Feel” interfaces on Standard PCs, Smartphones, and Tablets, with online training, help, and instructions, with the devices supporting remote maintenance and support.

 

Here are some of the scenarios:

  • Residents would like to have monitoring (security, safety, medical, fitness,  and/or  environmental control)

  • Residents would like some Assisted Living Services, and help in getting additional Personal Services

  • Residents would like some Personal and Medical Services offered periodically at the Center and be able to schedule them

  • Residents would like to have an On-Site Emergency Medical Kit in the main facility with the Fitness Center

  • Residents would like an On-Site Clinic to support periodic testing, examinations, and telemedicine within the facility

  • Everyone would like to have things run more efficiently, with fewer mistakes, auditable actions, and escalations and follow-ups as needed

  • The facility would like to offer inexpensive and save “value add” services at low cost, and be able to use their  regular employees to perform the services

  • The facility would like low-cost remote support for the system and any devices and APPs

 

Some Service Options include:

  • Providing a complete service package to take care of all of the resident’s  System and Support Needs within their residences and in Common Areas mainly by becoming a Small System-in-a-Box Call Center <                   >for their residence

  • Allowing the Resident to maintain their own Systems and supporting any alarms/escalations

  • Providing additional low-cost Medical, Assisted Care, and Security Capability

  • Assisting with the scheduling of any required  personal services

  • Partnerships with the Resident’s guardians to assist in the care and escalations associated with their residence

 

Additions in Service (through additional configured modules) can include:

  • Additional monitoring and checkup

  • Providing shared and networked Medical Monitoring, Fitness, and Test equipment in a Common Area

  • Providing additional discounted Personal Services through Personal Services Applications

  • Access to Regularly Scheduled Mobile Clinics

  • Small Fixed and Mobile Telemedicine Medical Kits

  • In-House Telemedicine Clinic (similar to a fixed mobile clinic)

  • Additional Security, Environmental Monitoring, and Control Capabilities

  • Electronic Fences to detect anyone leaving the area or entering/exiting from a controlled location

 

System Components:

  • Smartphones, Tablets, and/or PCs with downloaded APPs  (and access to Cloud Data and Processing  through the APPs)

  • Printable or orderable stickers or wrist bands (required for and APPs, Devices, or Services needing to assign a person’s  identity to)

  • Any desired Medical, Security,  Monitoring, and/or Control Devices

  • Home Based Network Connection

  • Any desired Redundancy (lighting, power, batteries, network, main control)
