This page shows some of the Business Case Charter arguments for Device Developers. Designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting a product is extremely expensive, takes a long time to get to market, has high risk, and it needs to be marketed and accepted. The System is envisioned to help in all of those areas, plus make the product easier to use, have more features, and have a larger Market. For Legacy Devices, it is envisioned to have SW and HW Legacy Gateways, to integrate them into the System.

 

It does this by:

  • Leverage off of Common Lobbying, Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Sales Support, Demos and Tradeshows

  • Leveraging off of Common Training, Integration, Testing, and Product Support/Maintenance

  • Leveraging off of Common Standards, Design, and Development

  • Leveraging  off of Common HW/SW Methods and Interfaces, System Features, and Development Kits

  • Leveraging off of Common Documentation and Procedures (training, specs, test, installation, reference designs, troubleshooting>

  • Support for Localization and Internationalization to support more people in more countries
