The initiative needs hosted infrastructure. Infrastructure includes the building and all of the typical corporate functions (HR, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, IT, Legal, Facilities, Security, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Marketing, Sales, Lobbying, Business Development, Legal, etc.). If the Center is hosted by a Company or Organization a lot of this may come from their Infrastructure. If not, this will be required. Depending on the initial scope and funding, this could be a very small group of individuals, trying to make it happen, or the creation of a small to midsized startup.

 

The Center is envisioned to be a common development platform, with common high-level business, marketing, sales, training, and support. It will need some dedicated space for some offices and labs to support the development, test, and support of the Product(s). The following are some of the computer based Systems that will need to be locally or remotely hosted to support the Center.

 

• Development Servers (Configuration management, libraries, tools, Objects, APPs, and regular development)

• Test and Integration portable and shippable Servers

• Demo portable and shippable Servers

• Primary and backup Customer Servers

• Center Web Servers

• Corporate Server

• Application Hosting and Upgrade

• Standard and HIPAA Cloud Services (probably outsourced)
