"Embracing existing and emerging technologies, with common standards and tools, to create simple and affordable Whole Healthcare for everyone... providing support through all stages and situations of their lives"

This website provides an overview of a “Wireless Whole Health Reference System” to implement an “Affordable Whole Healthcare System” to support people across the globe through all stages and situations of their live. The features range from a little to no cost "passive just-in-case” safety net, to providing direct Full Whole Healthcare for an individual.

The main push of the initiative and System is to lower the actual costs of providing Healthcare, improving capabilities, and providing it to more places and people. It also provides benefits for individual homecare, retirement/assisted living centers, device and drug developers, research foundations, and dealing with humanitarian and disaster relief.

The Initiative involves a wide variety of technologies, services, industries, and end-users. The different aspects of the System are all built on the same basic tools and features (System Building Blocks), but they look very different based on your background and interests.  This website attempts to cover each aspect and user of the System, which can make it difficult for any one group or individual to clearly see the benefits and opportunities for their specific background and interest.  For example one of the System Features “Identity and Information Services” can be used for a great many applications and use cases <Read more about Identity and Information Services>.

Some examples include:

  • Finding Lost Children (or others that may need help in locating a guardian)

  • Alerts when individuals enter or leave a controlled area

  • Central collection and analysis for manually and automatically collected data on an individual

  • Finding lost or stolen property Managing Services for the Homeless across agencies and organizations (or other groups including individuals affected by disasters)

  • Reduce Medical mistakes

  • Manage, monitor, and support equipment, devices, and facilities

  • Help provide safety and services for “At Risk” populations

This Website contains many different aspects of the Initiative, which are not intended or expected to be of interest or understood by individuals reviewing it. An attempt was made to try to organize the different sections and tabs of the website to help the reader to find the specific areas that are relevant to them. The remainder of this section provides an overview of the overall of the Initiative and the organization of web site. There is another page (which is under construction), that will attempt to create a roadmap help certain groups and individuals navigate the site < End-User Site Review Roadmaps – under construction>. For a general feel for how the System can benefit a group, individual or industry, the Use-Case tab is also a good place to start <Read more about System Use-Cases>.

The System is based off of Common Standards, Design, Development, Development Kits, Features, Test, Documentation, and other capabilities that can be developed and implemented over time, by a single company or many different independent partners. These features, devices, services, and APPs can be configured into many different Use Cases, supporting many different industries and individuals.

There were many different issues with providing care for people, that defined many or the aspects of the Initiative and proposed System to help solve these issues.  These range from taking care of peoples basic needs at different times in their lives, to shortages of highly Trained Medical Personnel <Read more about the Problem>.

The System embraces existing and emerging technologies and Localization to transfer work to technology and use technology to automate and reduce the skill levels required perform tasks. The System provides many other features to provide a wide variety lower cost of devices, apps, and services to end-users, and make it easier and cheaper for the developers and service providers. It is also designed to reduce errors, improve capabilities/offerings, and save lives< Imagine a Better World >.

This is all possible due to some Disruptive Technologies that have come into being and matured in the last 5 years or so .  Note: A Disruptive Technology is an Innovation that disrupts an Existing Market. < Read more about Disruptive Technologies >

  • PCs, Tablets, and Smartphones

  • “Anywhere“ High Speed Networks

  • Wi-Fi (and Bluetooth) Enabled Cameras

  • Cloud Computing and Data Services

  • New Wireless (and wired) Medical Devices

  • Tablets and Smart Phones have become Medical Devices

  • Machine Assisted Surgery (and Treatments)

  • New “Whole Home” Security and Control Systems

  • Robotics  (with some AI)

Neither the Initiative nor the proposed System are associated with the Affordable Healthcare Act, which doesn’t actually tackle medical or care costs. The Initiative and System would help the ACA, or could be considered a market driven alternative to provide better Whole Healthcare to more people, in more places (worldwide), and at a lower cost, through all stages and situations of a person's life... through a public private cooperation.

The initiative is about expanding Whole Healthcare and by making it easier to provide services at lower costs. It is a market driven initiative to provide better Whole Healthcare to more people, in more places (worldwide), and at a lower cost, through all stages and situations of a person's life... through a public private cooperation.

The current Healthcare Marketplace and its needs are huge < Read more about Costs and Opportunities >.  With increased insurance coverage, and more treatments becoming approved as medically necessary, it will continually grow. The System goes further than just providing better and lower cost Institutional Medical Care to more people in more places. These are just some of the Whole Healthcare needs that people have. These real needs and the potential market for these additional services is even larger, and they can leverage off of existing establishments to more comprehensive Whole Healthcare as close to the individual as possible... Worldwide.

The initiative creates many new jobs in the areas of Disaster Relief, Brick and Mortar Care Centers, Mobile Clinics, Personal Service Providers, Support Groups, Integrators, Developers, and others. Many of these are fairly well paying and can provide new opportunities to individuals who would not have them without the initiative. < Read more about new Job Opportunities >.

Some are standalone features embedded into new or existing APPs, while others are features to assist with the development of other components and the use/support of the System.  This is an initial cut at some of the functions that would be part of the Core System, and provided for Developers and Integrators and Service Providers.

This section of the website contains the list of additional PowerPoint Presentations that are available upon request. They are (completed and/or under construction) providing additional information and details about the System, focused on different industries, end-users, and roles within the different groups

This section of the website is envisioned to contain the list of individuals, groups, and organizations that are interested in some aspect of the System, and agreed to be listed on the page. It is designed to encourage participation in the initiative.

This section of the Website contains the overview of the Website, along with some of the background and Initiative information.

It includes:

This section of the website contains the current information about the state of the initiative. It will change as additional progress is made.

There are a large number of envisioned applications to assist with use of in the System to support a wide variety of Use Cases.  This is an initial cut at some applications that would be part of the Core System. Some of these APPs already exist in some form or another, and hopefully they can be leveraged off of. The goal is for the system to support and provide open defined interfaces, have similar look and feel, be interoperable, have some rich enhanced capabilities, and spur additional innovation in this area.

This section of the website allows you to go through some conceptual User Interfaces Storyboards that different Users of the System might have. It is not a final design and it is mainly to show the modularity, rollout and utility of the System.

This section of the website is focusing on the Business Case/Charter aspects of the System as it relates to the different industries and organizations that would build, sell, integrate, support, and/or use the System.

The entire site has miscellaneous conceptual diagrams on the System and the Initiative. Many are fairly small and hard to read and were included to show the some of the concept details and spark further interest. They can be enlarged through your browser, or they are available to cut and paste into another document for more detailed review. Some examples are listed below.
