This site represents a Technology Based Initiative to create a Worldwide Market-Driven Affordable Whole Healthcare System and is seeking forward thinking and innovative companies, organizations, Universities, and individuals to participate and lead in the Vision, Standards, and the Development of the System... Check back for updates (lots more data to input). Site History
The System provides many benefits for individuals regardless of their age, condition, living alone, living with others, homeless, rich, or poor.
The following are some sample scenarios where the System could help individuals:
-
You live alone and are injured and cannot move, requiring someone to know you have not moved and need to be checked on
-
You are injured and cannot communicate, you need the emergency response people to know your name, contact(s), and any special conditions
-
You have a disability that does not allow to always being able to communicate clearly or remember certain information. You need someone to find you and be able to find if there are any special instructions in dealing with you and get a hold of a contact
-
You have become lost, or sometimes you lose track where you are and wander out of a controlled area and need your contacts alerted when you have become lost
-
You have lost, misplaced or had a possession of yours stolen that has been found (taxi, restaurant, airline check point, police Department, etc.) you need a way for someone to contact you
-
You are a shut-in, or have limited access outside of your home. You need a wide variety of scheduled and as needed Personal Services that you need help selecting and managing (it would also be great if the service provider could provide feedback to a contact of yours if they noticed something that should be checked)
-
You have limited mobility and you need to get as much of your healthcare treatments as close to your residence (home monitoring and treatment devices, home telemedicine, neighborhood clinic, mobile clinic, retirement community, assisted living center, etc.) as possible
-
You have a collection of different monitoring devices associated with you, and need an easy way of transferring the monitoring and data collection to an emergency vehicle and then to a nursing home.
-
Your area has been hit by a disaster or outage. You need to know what to do, where to go, receive rationed relief services, tell people you are OK, and have people come and check on you if you have special needs
-
You are Homeless or have a disability where you need services and someone or an organization to be an emergency contact for you
-
You want to start taking better care of yourself and need some correlated tools to help you manage and monitor your life
Some of the System features that can solve these issues include:
-
Information and Identity Services
-
Public accessible (user defined) information for emergency, lost items, locating lost children or dementia individuals, support for social services (name, contacts, medical alerts, special instructions)
-
Shared institutional information (verified information placed in by primary care physician or other designated organization), providing emergency and important information that would be shared with any emergency/medical organization
-
Shared network information (verified information placed in by a health network or other designated organization) for information that is shared within your Health Network Providers (assess would be through their System)
-
Personal Storage (shared with any designated administrators) of additional Personal and System information
-
-
My Whole Health APP – Customizable Dashboard and APP(s) providing access into all of your Health, Medical, Personal Services, and Information Services along with scheduling and escalation functions. It is customizable by the individual and assists in identifying and selecting available and compliant APPs that would be of interest.
-
Personal Services APP – Provide agreements, order, scheduling, approvals, billing, payment, and check/follow-up/update on the individual and service performed.
-
“Still Active” APP – Basic APP that detects some form of auditable activity (turns on phone, send txt, send email, open door, motion sensor, etc.) that can escalate to an email or txt, if there is no activity within a specified time.
-
“At Risk” APP – Basic APP that allows an “At Risk” person to be checked on in case of an outage or disaster, as well as their special needs. This can be pulled in the event of a disaster/outage and assigned, or periodically pulled and downloaded to a designated person(s) that would handle the check in their area. Escalation is included if the person is not reached or needs follow-up.
-
Public Bulletin Board – Basic App that allows a person to send and receive public messages from one of a number of envisioned high-availability information boards located throughout a city (bus stops, libraries, community centers, malls, etc.). This was mainly designed for limited communication (and “I am OK”) for disasters using a wrist band (or sticker) and an Information Board, but it could be generally used in other situations, like homeless.
-
Postal APP – Basic APP used by the Postal Services (but could also be used by public mailbox providers) to help monitor individuals. Mail carriers will typically support checking in on shut-ins or people with limited outside access and participate in neighborhood watch programs. This provides a tool for the carrier to open the APP, GPS address fill-in, and then a quick selection of “No Answer at Door”, “Suspicious Activity’, or “Mail not Picked up”… ”if set” an email or txt would be sent to an people registered for the Postal Alerts.
-
Volunteer APP – Not so basic APP, allowing individuals to sign up to support specified groups, specific services <based on input skills inventory>, and/or specific times for regular and emergency situations. Once an individual and organization are connected, it is envisioned that there are common interfaces/features, which would support scheduling, contact, training, instructions, general information, etc.
-
Call Center App – Allowing Traditional, Boutique, and Social Advocacy groups to help with an individual’s needs.
System Components:
-
Smartphone, Tablet, and/or PC with downloaded APPs (and access to Cloud Data and Processing through the APPs)
-
Printable or orderable stickers or wrist bands (only required for identity related APPs)
Notes:
-
Individuals without Smartphone, Tablet, and/or PC (or the capability to use one for this purpose), their account, can be managed by a Guardian or Social Advocacy Group
-
It is envisioned that this group of services could be provided at little or no costs for individuals
